They're hydrating and moisturizing without leaving the eye area sticky. Seaweed is the second ingredient in the serum, shockingly, and you do get a slight de-puffing and tightening effect from it. Usually the advertised special ingredient in these bargain patches is at the tail end of the ingredient list, as the collagen is in this one. They are also antioxidants, humectants and brighteners in the formula.I find these to be a bit too goopy to stay put unless you drag the gel across the edge of the container to remove the excess, but easily remedied.
