Got this for connecting a 30-bit 4K monitor to a 2021 24" iMac. It worked great at first, but after a few weeks it started flickering and then stopped altogether.I called the manufacturer of my professional monitor [was it a cable or monitor issue?] and Apple themselves, their variant worked fine , unlike the Revain it has a push button "connector latch". Aside from the fact that the Revain probably saves some manufacturing costs, both weren't worth the savings or downtime. At least I was able to send the defective cable back with no problem.
