They made rotating a lot easier when I installed LED lights. I've read that some people have had trouble with these, but I've found they work great if I separate the wires a bit and use pliers to cover the connectors. We could also open the connectors if we needed to reposition them without damaging them. The first time we tried it, we found that while our connected LED string connected easily, it was no longer the correct color. Instead of white light, we went yellow (we used an RGB strip). We tried reconnecting multiple times and couldn't figure out why the light was wrong and was close to giving up. We finally figured out that if you connect the 4 colored wires first, then turn on the light and connect the LED strip to the other end of the connector, you can ensure that all connections in the LED strip are properly connected. The reason our lights got colored was because one of the little connectors on the strip didn't fit, but we couldn't see it when we tried to plug it in. We left the power on as we closed the clips on the plug and we had the correct white light. Once we understood that, they were easy to use.
