Review on Bowers & Wilkins PX7 Wireless Headphones by Keisuke F Kuga ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice product, happy with my purchase and may buy again.

There are enough other reviews about the excellent sound and the possible marriage, I confirm the first, we didn’t encounter the second, I’m probably lucky. I'll tell you more about unobvious shortcomings. The software and app for headphones are not bad, but: - headphones regularly "forget" devices if there were more than 2 of them in the connection history: you have to go through the connection process again (with the bluetooth button pressed, pairing, etc.), because The headphones only remember the last 2 devices. For comparison, this does not happen to me with the Sony WH1000-XM2, although I regularly use it on 5 devices (2 laptops, 2 phones, and a TV) - the application does not allow you to enter the headphone settings until you turn on the geolocation; as a person with experience in development, I can say that this is a completely far-fetched limitation, especially when the headphones are directly connected to the phone via Bluetooth. Lack of passive cable work: some wireless headphones have the ability to play sound even when turned off if a 3.5mm cable is connected (the same Sony WH1000-XM2 even manages to charge from it, albeit very slowly). B&W PX7 can't do that - you have to keep them turned on and waste the battery, which is a pity - I usually use headphones in this mode about 70% of the time.

Pros
  • Sound is great Comfortable Beautiful Convenient case Charging port - type-c
Cons
  • Soft No passive mode of operation At the other end of the supplied charging cable - type-A
