I particularly like the rubber feet - the edges don't chip. I've watched a few sharpening videos on You Tube and have now sharpened all the knives in the house including my SS pocket knives which are notoriously difficult to sharpen. Take your time and set the right pressure and angle to get the best results. .I cannot stress enough that each block had a rubber backing which is very good at preventing chipped edges. Nice wooden base. I would pay extra for a wooden box to store everything - now I use the original box and foam.
