Basic mat but works well enough for sanding or milling woodwork. It's nice not having to use clamps, especially when trying to route the perimeter of a frame etc in one pass. This doesn't work so well when trying to work on smaller parts (like handrails/handrails) as they don't have enough surface area for the mat to actually hold them in place. You'll also need to pick it up and shake it off or vacuum it up from time to time, because if dust builds up, the mat either won't stick to your desk or the piece won't stick to the top of the mat. Not bad for the price.
