Review on 🌬️ Whynter Elite ARC-122DHP 12,000 BTU Dual Hose Portable Air Conditioner and Heater, Dehumidifier, Fan | Activated Carbon Filter | Autopump | Storage Bag | Up to 400 sq ft | Multi-Function by Clint Mcloven

Just received my unit. The cooling works amazing and cools my room very quickly as it should as it is a 2 hose unit not drawing in room air to cool the condenser and I also tried the heating mode just to see whether it works, and it works great even when blown. Hot air like from a heater came out of the ventilation shaft and the exhaust hose was freezing cold. The noise level was also much lower than I expected, so while there is always a whistling noise while the fans are running, the compressor itself runs very smoothly and quietly, including when starting and stopping. I think I can sleep through the noise fairly easily, so unlike other noisier portable air conditioners, this unit is perfect for bedroom use. My only complaint is that I wish the louvers on the vent had an automatic rotating function to keep air distribution, rather than just a manually opened vent. Otherwise the product is highly recommended. The compressor is definitely much quieter than other portable units and to the extent that I can sleep soundly without waking myself up at night it is definitely quieter than the condenser and evaporator fan which is extremely amazing. Also, the units have managed to heat my room to a comfortable level, even though it's still around 38C outside and my room is an annex so it has terrible insulation. When it's hot, my room was cold without any problems either. Also appreciate the drain pump as it automatically drains the condensate when running continuously in heating mode so I don't have to drain it myself, definitely want that feature in a heat pump. I'm very impressed with this PAC, I would say it's the end of all PAC blocks, I'm even more surprised that it's only $349 (currently)! If you're looking for a PAC that can cool and heat, then you've come to the right place!
