Not for hiking: my assessment
I tried them on and made it to my gravel driveway, put them back in my bag and returned them. It was like walking barefoot on gravel with no support other than a smooth surface. They are great for paved, smooth surfaces, sand or boating. Got her going to the lake and into the water. This lake has rocks and the path is not smooth. Too bad because they fit very well.
Pros
- The first time I tried to tighten them the elastic cord snapped so I tied a loop in them and they worked great.
Cons
- clutch is not enough
