I bought these to stretch out some leather shoes I bought recently. I'm not sure if these will expand enough to do the job.These looked like they would work better than the others I saw that looked narrow. Unfortunately I didn't take into consideration that the shoe trees are to be used in shoes that have backs on them. The shoes I purchased are slip-ons. I'll have to figure out something to make this work. They are very well made and the cedar wood is very nice. I would recommend them for shoes with backs.
