Review on Ymiko Electronic Tachometer Motorcycle Speedometer by Justin Newport
Doesn't work with SBC motor
I bought this gauge to use as an extra tachometer and voltmeter for my vintage car with 12V electrical system and SBC (Chevy 350 v8, HEI ignition). It hooks up fairly easily and seems to read the exact voltage, but the tachometer reads 2x the engine RPM. Since I don't have a factory speedometer, I'm not sure, but I'll test it with an external speedometer soon. As far as I know there are no settings that can be adjusted to fix this problem.
