I wear earplugs to bed because my husband snores and gets up early, and my kids are night owls. I was using Mack's foam earplugs and they worked great for noise but my ears hurt by morning. I bought these hoping they'd work without pain. They work, but I still have to give them an extra push when I wake up to use the bathroom, and occasionally they hurt my eardrum when I do it because of the air behind them. Also I sleep on my side and my right ear canal still gets sore by morning. They're better than nothing, and they don't hurt my left ear when I lie on it so maybe they won't hurt anyone else. But when I lie on my right side they hurt. Still, I'm not shopping for a replacement and I wear them every night.
