Review on HiLetgo GY 271 QMC5883L Compass Magnetometer by John Hall

0 stars. Ordered qmc5883 from another vendor, i2c scanner could not find it. Got this from HiLetgo and the i2c scanner found it ok, worked on the code and libraries and couldn't calibrate it and stabilize the reading. Came back the next day to work on it again, plugged in the breadboard and magic smoke came out. Nothing has changed in the wiring, just poof. I'm done wasting my time. I ordered the original magnetic sensor from adafruit. Despite this, my adxl345 from Hiletgo still seems to work fine.
