Review on Acer Frameless Office Monitor R240HY Bidx, 1920X1080P, 60Hz, Blue Light Filter, Tilt Adjustment, HDMI by Todd Cabot

I bought this monitor to replace an old Viewsonic model that fell off the table and cracked. This screen is pretty good, it's rated at 60Hz but overclocks to 75Hz with no issues, which is where I keep mine. It has very thin bezels - so thin that I can no longer mount my webcam on it as it dangles into the picture space. One thing I'm a little dissatisfied with and that other reviewers have noticed is that the white on this screen is a bit "yellow" compared to my old Viewsonic. It bothered me more at first but I think I got used to it and now it's looking good for me. The base of this monitor is also quite grippy and the whole assembly is very easy. I've always been very happy with the value Acer places on technology. world, and this monitor really is no different. I use this screen with one of Acer's desktops and so far it seems like a good pair. I connect mine with an HDMI cable but one isn't included, only VGA.
