Review on Surlim Wicking Motorcycle Cycling Football by Shane Yay

Not what I was hoping for

I was looking for a lightweight layer to wear under a bike helmet on 40-50 degree days. This one didn't cover my ears at all. I think I was expecting a little longer on the sides. I tried it out on a warmer day to see how it performed under a helmet. Not much actually, but it's not just the helmet itself that's ruining my hair. I think these moisturizing skullcaps are mostly for people with shaved or bald heads. It didn't work for someone with a full head of hair. Didn't return it as the description was appropriate. I just think that the model in the photo must have had a small and shaved head to sit the way she does. I found another similar hat for about the same price that is worn over the ears. But it's warm outside now so it will be a while before I know if this is a good replacement for the polypropylene cap I got from Damart 30 years ago (and recently lost). What a useful piece of clothing!

Pros
  • All-Purpose Skull Cap --- Wear our skull cap while running or as a helmet liner when biking, working, playing soccer, skateboarding or inline skating. Finally, you can save time and money by buying different sports hats for different needs. This skullcap is also easy to fold and store in a bag or pannier.
Cons
  • Not bad
