If you like wet shaving in Germany, do yourself a favor and try these out. I prefer to use these SUPER sharp blades in a less aggressive razor but with a good shaving cream. I do one pass with the grain and one pass against the fibers and that's it. Smooth, close shave, no nicks and long blade life. 4-5 quality shaves with one blade. My beard is medium.
