Until I bought this flashlight I was happy with my 18650 battery powered flashlights. By using a much larger 26650 x 2 battery, it gets power that lasts much longer than smaller 18650 flashlights, with less heat build-up in the battery cells. The flashlight does get warm, but mainly due to the high lumen output of the well-designed COB LED chip. The design also uses a heatsink-type channel head design to dissipate heat, which ultimately works well. I love it so much I've bought 3 total for the house, one for my truck and an early order for a friend's birthday. (I hope he doesn't see this review before his birthday. Highly recommend this excellent light. ☆☆☆☆☆
