When I use them, I always remember drawing classes in elementary school. All I remember is that my friends and I unwrapped them until the art teacher got upset. If I pay for them now, that's what I get. Also, they last forever to use, assuming you don't unwrap the box ahead of time. I've used them on a variety of things, but if you just need a bit of color they're absolutely golden. Well, if you have a dent or bump, colored wood putty/filler is the way to go.
