This was the first camera I got for my DVR when I was setting it up. It synced easily with my DVR and I was able to see clearly everything in the cameras view. I checked it out later that night and I was surprised how far the night vision actually worked. I am extremely happy with this camera and if I could afford them I would have these on all 8 ports of my DVR. Very sturdy and easy to install. Only thing is to keep in mind you need Ethernet ran for these for the data and power. Has a power jack on it but that would only be if the voltage drop was too much for a long run of POE where you needed more power at the camera end.
