First, the size of the box it comes in is huge. Obviously to keep the 32 inch monitor inside. Everything was well packaged so nothing was damaged in transit. The monitor has its own stand mount and cannot be used with any standard monitor mount, which is a disadvantage if you want to mount it differently. When routing cables, the stand has a cable channel that allows you to hide the cables and not strain your eyesight. The monitor comes with an HDMI cable, which is good, but it's not a different type of cable to use the PBP function. The other video input is DisplayPort, for which you cannot use an HDMI cable. So you'll have to do your own research to find an active DisplayPort adapter. As soon as I turned on the monitor, the resolution was amazing, not because of the size but because of your face. I was able to see more detail at a larger scale, which is nice as I'm doing some design work on my CNC router and laser. That was the main reason I wanted a 32 inch monitor from Samsung. You control all the settings with a simple joystick-style button, like most Samsung products, which can be painful, but convenient and uncomfortable. Besides my CNC work, I use it to play games on my game console and I also look forward to completing projects with my laser. I can look at my laptop and game console at the same time or switch between them via DisplayPort. It has a built in eye saver mode if you plan on using it for a long time, but I haven't used that feature yet. By going through and adjusting the settings, most images or videos displayed on the monitor will appear as if they were alive! The curve on the monitor is very pleasing, especially when you're sitting so close to the computer. This definitely gives your eyes a better perspective as the distance from the center to the edge of the monitor is about the same. So if you're looking for something huge that takes up minimal space on your desk, amazing picture and resolution, hidden cables that allow you to use 2 video inputs simultaneously or switch between them. Then this monitor is for you! I'd love to get another one to go!
