Just received this yesterday. 32 inches from corner to corner, just over 31 inches across the screen. The bottom edge of the monitor on the stand is approximately 3.6 inches above the table. Everything on the screen looks smooth and sharp (due to 4k). I believe monitors over 30 inches should be UHD resolution when your face is 2-3 feet away. If you expect the best of the best, this is NOT THE ONE. The old adage "you get what you pay for” applies here too. At first everything worked perfectly out of the box. But then I noticed that the screen flickers sometimes. I can't say exactly what will work, but when the monitor is in eye protection mode there is no flicker at all. I have yet to test the monitor with a different HDMI cable than the one that came with the monitor and I'm not sure if it is related to that or the power cord. I needed a lot of screen real estate to work with, so I bought one of these first. After using it for about a year I got a second one to extend my desktop and I couldn't be happier. Well worth it, I would never go again. Great for games. Everything is so sharp and the beautiful curvature makes it more exciting. I had no problems at all.

I work from home from time to time and am fed up with my small laptop with a small screen attached. I decided to treat myself to the largest and bought this one. My laptop and PS4 are connected to a monitor and I have speakers connected to it and it's just great quality for both. Before purchasing, make sure your PC graphics card supports 4K (it doesn't matter, depending on who you are) to get the most out of this monitor.

This monitor is good but not perfect. I couldn't figure out why a 4K curved monitor was so affordable, but now I think I get it. The stand is useless unless your table is built on a foundation. My rating is for using this monitor in terms of performance. I was a former user of Double 24's, then Double 27's and 24's. Generally, on larger monitors, I'll split windows left and right, or a quarter of the screen. The problem I've found is that at 27-inches and up, the leftmost and rightmost monitors are too far apart -- I feel like I want to move my body left or right, depending on which side of the screen it's on I work on. It's not a 4k monitor, but UHD looks great for gaming. 60 fps will be your limit, so if you need a higher refresh rate then it won't work. BUT! I think it's great for the money. I really like this monitor, the ratio of curvature and size is excellent, the picture is clear. Note, however, that if you need a higher refresh rate, you'll have to look elsewhere.

Colors, brightness and clarity on this VA panel are excellent: I can't see any significant color difference between my AW3418DW IPS (premium gaming monitor) and this one. However, the factory calibration of my device was bad and others have said the same, so it is recommended to calibrate it. It is as advertised. It has a clear color and a nice smooth edge. However, the image quality is lost since many videos and games do not support 4k. The most unfortunate aspect of this monitor is that it has such a low 60Hz refresh rate that your high-quality videos and almost all modern games will twitch. It's like the screen skipping a beat. I was trying to replace an old TCL TV that was being used as a monitor but since it didn't have HDMI 2.0 inputs it could only support 4k at 30Hz. This monitor definitely supports 4k @ 60Hz but the picture quality is just terrible. When an old TCL TV beats your picture quality, you know you've done something wrong, Samsung. So... the easiest way is to separate the pros and cons. Pros: The image is pretty solid. There are no serious complaints. - very easy to connect. - a decent curve. Not bulky - there are wall mounts. You just need to get an "adapter" for it. Cons: - wish it had more HDMI sockets - to mount it on the wall you need a blunt adapter so to speak. Don't have your average 4-hole mounting points? It basically attaches to the TV remote like a battery cover, but with 2 screws.
