Review on Surface grinder DeWALT DWE6411, 230 W by Stanislaw Kimsa ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing for the money, I'm glad I chose this option.

A very decent machine. In general, like all normal people, when working with wood, I try to use orbital sanders, but, to my great regret, only Mirka and Metabo make a table diameter of up to 80 mm, and the second manufacturer turned out to be a frankly unsuccessful machine . + abrasive on them very rare and worth space. With this in mind, it turns out that for grinding narrow parts (less than 40 mm wide) it is more profitable to use a small vibratory grinder with a small table stroke so that it leaves fewer “lambs”, this machine fully meets these requirements. The dust removal system is very weak, as well as on almost all vibration machines. But if you work on narrow details, you can take the Sunmight Velcro tape, stupidly cut it into squares and not suffer. Yes, the performance of this machine is small, but it is not designed for rough work! And for working with narrow details, she simply has no price. PS: works quite well with Mirka pad saver - information for those who save the sole of the machine.

Pros
  • Weight. Ergonomics. Low vibration. Long cord.
Cons
  • Dust removal. No speed control.
