Review on Apevia Crusader-F-BK: Ultimate Mid Tower Gaming Case with Tempered Glass Panel, USB3.0/USB2.0 Ports, and RGB Fans by Rick Rogers

I read the reviews and argued for a while but decided to go ahead and see what I could do with this case. Since most issues seem to arise during installation, I figured it was worth the fight - being a longtime PC builder/gaming rig veteran, I figured I could figure it out. Well, this thing won me over, but not like most. The wiring is definitely super inefficient for a case at this price point - it wouldn't be that hard to make it work better than an outdated backplane that works and doesn't let you talk about how messy it is, but I knew it. I bought this to build my girlfriend for her gaming PC as we've been talking about this for a while and I wanted to update my setup. So I bought all my new parts for myself and just a few things for them that I didn't already have (power supply/case of course/peripherals). First I assembled it from my old parts and couldn't get power. Your PSU was one of the new parts so I replaced it with my 4 year old evga g3 and nothing. I also switched to my new phone/processor, nothing. I swapped the stands/some power cords/main power cords - moved to a different outlet. Nothing. I wanted their computer to come first, but after completely disassembling and rebuilding their computer more than 5 times, I rebuilt my computer in my old case with all my new parts/some old ones. I also checked their power supply in it - my computer started immediately and booted straight to my Windows USB and installed without a single hiccup. Finally, I took a voltmeter and checked the case wires. I trust my voltmeter, but I'm not getting anything from the power button, power LED, or hard drive LED. The reset showed a reading. I sincerely believe that these drop wires are bad. I was even lucky who had impeccable packaging / no shipping or external damage to the product. I considered exchanging it but this case was really disappointing and I'm sure you can buy much better for $70. From what has been said - I think the installation issues are a bit exaggerated. The space for the PSU is pretty decent, and I haven't had too many cable issues like everyone else. Also, the MSI B350 Tomahawk is a full ATX board, and yes it 'fills' the space, but it fits in nicely. I've read that a lot of people struggle with this, but it fits snugly and I only had to tilt it slightly while pushing in to get it to fit. prefer a higher quality piece.
