Of the myriad of pliers on the market, particularly in the 'alternative brand' price range, these are the best. The moving parts have a bit more play than the most well-known manufacturers, adjustment isn't as smooth and the look and finish right down to the rivets just aren't what a top-of-the-line tool should be. But it's not a premium tool. That's pretty much the point of the product. But it works and will likely last for years with proper care. I love my quality tools, but as a weekend warrior I don't have a huge budget for weld clamps, which I use once a week when the weather is nice. Considering the price, I give it all stars. Hope this helps with the decision.
