According to my experience, this flush mount ceiling light soundproofing did nothing to keep noise at bay. The noise from the electrical units was still very audible even with the soundproofing in place. It's supposed to be an industrial and scientific solution but it didn't deliver what it promised. The only pro was that it looked sleek and modern. But that wasn't enough to justify the high cost and lack of effectiveness. Save your money and look for a more reliable soundproofing solution.
