I really like the "one key" system. We bought a country cottage with six lockable doors (three of them shed closets) and I locked them all easily with keys that matched our other house. Fewer buttons to play around with. I didn't like that about the locking mechanisms, some of the key teeth were on the top and some on the bottom. I called Kwikset customer service and they sent me a little tool that makes it easy to remove "kernels" and align them all in the same direction. This helps when it's dark and I can't see which way the keyhole is pointing - now they're all "keys down". I wish they were like this when I owned a rented house. If I lose a key at a time for my own home or one is stolen, I can take one of the Kwikset keys that came with one of the sets I haven't used and rekey all of my doors in a short amount of time.
