I wanted so badly to be happy with this IR blaster but I can't. Firstly, this is a big problem for pairing as the app detects and syncs multiple attempts. Once he mates, you'll find that his "library" must be ancient. It doesn't recognize any electronics in my house and all remotes had to be programmed in learn mode. Also, there doesn't seem to be a way to update the library inside. Finally, the range is short, barely two meters, and it should be directly in front of the blaster since it only has a beamer on one side. The supplied manual is a very poor attempt at English for a completely different model and with incorrect instructions.
