Mama's PT Cruiser Fire went out while being treated for cancer at the hospital. After taking her home and towing the car, I found that was the problem. I ordered this kit, was going to install it and the plastic part broke. Thankfully, it's not this one that breaks, but the forks on either side of the bolt. I used a new metal part with an old plastic part and repaired the car. Please note that there are no instructions for this and none of the videos I've watched mention the small oval piece of metal found on the underside of the assembly. It does not come with the new part! It will fall out and you may not notice it like I did. Before this repair, remove the mats and vacuum the floor. If you have something white like a sheet or pillowcase, this will help you find the piece if it falls out. As for all the springs, I have no idea what they are for unless they are for different makes and models.
