Review on Universal Ceiling Fan Control - Litex WCI-100 Wall Command with Full Range Dimmer and Three Speeds by Chris Horton

I purchased this item to add a wall switch to an outdoor ceiling fan that only works with a wireless remote control. The outdoor fan was from Costco so there was no chance they were selling a wall switch that actually worked with the fan. I had other wall switches that looked similar and worked with a 5 switch code system so I decided to give it a try. Installation was pretty easy. Essentially two black wires and ground. It doesn't matter what was positive and what was negative. I did not install the supplied receiver in the fan itself. Before installing, I set the switch to the same code as my remote control. Once installed, I followed the pairing procedure, which basically involved holding down the light button for a few seconds. I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of pairing the switch with the fan. Another wireless remote control also continued to work. As others have said there is a Litex logo on the switch but it's small and really no different than the logos on my other fan wall switches, it just says Litex instead of another brand. .For anyone like me interested in using this switch indoors for an outdoor fan, I had no problem getting the switch to communicate with the fan about 20 feet away and through an outside wall. Overall very happy with the switch.
