I should have known. Other reviewers mentioned that they were damaged. I hoped it was an accident. But actually, I got mine and it was boned on one side. Now I must get back to Revane and deal with this trouble. Thus the light is useless as it looks ridiculous. I have a light-less side of my kitchen and I'm not electronics savvy or brave enough to attempt to install the ceiling light myself. That's why I bought this. It looked incredibly cheap in the picture, although reviewers said it looked great in person. Now that I've seen it in person I think it looks very cheap and with the damage I and many others have suffered it's clearly cheaply made but if it's hanging from the ceiling you might not notice it so up. one received, but I don't hold my breath. I only put a light bulb in for about 10 minutes and the light bulb was very hot but the unit was fine. It has all the fire code stickers on it so time will tell. When the house burns down, I'll find out why. Also berate the company for poor quality and packaging. The shipping box was in perfect condition so it was clearly in the box with one side broken.
