I stumbled across Kristin Kot on Instagram and was intrigued by the fact that she discussed so many of the painful issues I face every day. Tailbone pain, back pain, groin pain, plantar fasciitis, bursitis. The list goes on. I always knew my hip was "busted," but little did I know that this was the cause of my pain in many other areas. I've always loved stretching my hip flexors, but it never gave me the relief I was looking for. I have seen numerous chiropractors and massage therapists who have only ever given me temporary relief. Then, after reading more of what Christine had to say, I decided I had nothing to lose and bought her book and hip ball. It was cheaper than a one off visit to a chiropractor or massage therapist and I wanted to understand what was going on there to find a long term solution. I can say with confidence that life has changed! So much useful information in the book and quiz was eye opening. I've probably had a tight ilium most of my life and just never knew it existed. Using the ball of the hip was quite painful the first time, but it gets easier as the muscles soften. I always thought the pain was just because my pelvic bones were in place and tender to the touch. No, it's just because the muscles around her are so tight it hurts! My lower back hurts the most and when it flares up I just use the ball to relax my hips (front and back) and instantly feel a lot better! I definitely plan on getting her hip hook when available to get even deeper into those muscles. It's amazing the relief it gives me all over my body! I'm so thankful I found it and tried it. I finally understand the source of my pain and I can do something at home to alleviate her condition!
