These are my first Swedish washcloths so I don't know how they compare to the more expensive ones but I've used my first one to clean all our countertops, the inside of our dirty microwave and a few other stains and it seems quite absorbent, durable and reusable. I can repeatedly squeeze, dry and reuse it with and without soap and so far there has been no odor or degradation of the material. Nice design and handy size for cleaning the kitchen. It will definitely reduce paper towel usage and I think they work better anyway.
