WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE BUYING

Before you buy this fan, there are a few things you need to know.1. This fan does not come with anti-rattle rubber pads2. You have to unscrew the threaded holes yourself with a special screw (sorry if that's not the right description). The fan itself is of high quality and excellent performance. but brings with it some frustrations which I have detailed below. When I received this fan I was excited to install it and replace my standard case fan. I take it out of the box and find that it has no anti-rattle pads and was very annoyed and disappointed. but I went ahead to install a fan. I installed a fan in my case and tried to screw it in, but the screw wouldn't go in at all. I took a closer look at the fan to see that the screw holes were unthreaded! my irritation continued to grow. I pulled out the screws that came with the fan (at first I thought they were regular fan screws) and found that they are special threading screws. The next 20-30 minutes consisted of holding the screw as straight as possible, screwing it in, stopping to check if I was bent (I was often), and repeating this process 8 more times! I'm new to PC building so I don't know if that's the norm, but this seems like a really lame way to cut costs and I most likely won't be buying from this company again. Too bad because the fan itself is of excellent quality and performance so far is excellent.
