It's time to get an infrared thermometer

The feature list of this thermometer is long and varied. From the AUTO OFF state, pressing the trigger turns on the laser pointer, making it easy to identify the object of interest for measurement. With a 12:1 dot ratio, you can easily determine the width of the area to be measured (at 1 foot it sees a 1 inch dot and at 10 feet it sees 10 inches). It reads from -50° to 1000°F (-50 to 550°C) and shows the high, low and average readings of the current session. In low light, the easily selectable backlight helps you view readings. And since different objects behave differently, this thermometer allows you to compensate for "emissivity" for a more accurate temperature reading (listed). Overall it's great value for money and the introductory offer of 20% off made it a great deal not to be missed.
