Review on Akebono EUR781 Euro Premium Grey Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Kit, 8.9 by Evan Larson

I installed these Akebono Euro Ultra Premium Pads on my BMW e46 3 Series. The OEM pads felt good, but generated too much dust and wore out too quickly. I read some good reviews elsewhere and gave these pads a try. I know I've ridden about 40,000 miles on these pads and they are great. They produce ZERO dust! My wheels stay silver. Fabulous! Braking performance is probably 85% better than the OEM pads I have to say. But I found the OEM pads a bit tricky, especially when first using them. These pads are more progressive and still quite powerful. To be clear, this is a street car, not a race car. I haven't chased this car or attempted a 100-to-0 stop contest to test brake fade. But for fast, spirited country road driving, they work great. If you hate BMW brake dust, I suggest you try it.
