I am genuinely shocked at the high rating of this item and that it is listed as a Revain's Choice. As many have said, the documentation is almost unreadable at times as it has obviously been translated. Above all, many sensors are defective. I found at least 4 and finally gave up. The humidity sensor didn't work for me, the touch sensor didn't work, the red color on RGB SMD didn't work, those are just two names. I finally gave up because it was clear that the goods were of poor/unverified quality. I triple checked the sensors with 3 different microcontrollers to be sure. Documentation is not only difficult to read, it is also often simply wrong. Mass, power and data in the same sensor often contradict each other or are just plain wrong. For settings/tutorials, always set to "speak" instead of standard data ports. 1. It jumps every sensor from time to time for no clear reason, adding to the confusion when troubleshooting. Of course, these are things that can be sorted out with a keen eye, but it's worth understanding that many sensors are buggy, and the code itself is miserably and chaotically organized. hard to keep a lot. Did they mislabel the contacts? Am I misunderstanding the clumsy translation? Is the code wrong? It's hard to say, especially when you're asking these questions on more than one sensor. For all of the reasons above, this will not work for a young learner or trying to do it with your child. Finally, there are no specs here, or many/if any part number names. So there's no real way to look up the original datasheets on the web (which you don't have to do anyway). . I read in the reviews that Elegoo provided replacement parts promptly, but I have 4+ sensors at the moment that I can't get to work. This, combined with the scattered code and lack of specs, made it unresolved. I WANTED to keep this set and make it work (can't find an alternative that looks much better). In summary, I have bought other Elegoo sets and have been very satisfied, so I was disappointed that this one was such a flop.
