This tool solves my problem and probably many others: Wire size? My VA inspector had the construction electricians rip all the wires out of the house and reconnect my house to 12 wires because of the FL code. So my problem is twisting the 12 wire cord to fit a 15 amp outlet that is rated for a 14 wire cord. I gave up and am now buying 20 amp 12 wire outlets.
