For many years I have had a problem with excessive moisture in the bathroom of our small house. There is no ventilation system and we had to keep the window open which can freeze in the middle of winter. We also have to keep the door closed because our cats will climb in and knock things off the shelves, leading to more mold and mildew. I recently saw an advert for a similar device on TV but couldn't remember the brand and tried to find it here. That's when I found this offer and decided to see if it worked for my needs. She works! Within an hour of plugging it in, I saw the device was working hard. It was shocking to realize how much moisture he pulled from the air! Where most people need 4-5 days, I need 2-3 days. The size is perfect - easily fits on one of the open shelves. It's quiet, you can barely hear it even standing next to it, and it does a great job! The only (minor) downsides I can think of are: - The extension plug sticks out at the back, forcing us to put it on our shelf. (not that close to the outlet), not on our first aid kit (right next to the outlet). As far as I can tell the only way to empty the tray is to turn it upside down and let it pour/drip out of the open hole. It works, but it never empties completely. I wish there was a beep or something (or maybe I didn't hear it in the other room) when it hits the fill mark. (It actually goes to sleep when it reaches that point and the indicator turns from green to amber). Also, I love it! Definitely five stars from what I understand!
