Review on 🐠 Catalina Aquarium CA 3000 Aquarium Pump: High-performance 1000 GPH filtration system by Jessica Bryant

I bought this to increase the flow to my pan. It has an automatic thermostat that turns off when it gets too hot and turns back on when it cools down. In 80 degree water that's 10 minutes. Either it has a bad self-cooling design or the thermostat is very sensitive. I don't want a filter that turns off for 5 minutes every 10 minutes. I'm 50/50 on whether to return it or use this feature as an aquarium wave generator. I prefer a strong current in my Freshwater 125 so every 10 minutes it gives a good boost and then relaxes.
