I read a lot of the reviews for this blanket before buying it, and I really hoped it would work. I get very warm at night, especially my feet, which can get very frustrating sometimes. Unfortunately, this blanket really didn't help much. I tried sleeping with it, wrapping myself in it, and just laying it on top of me, but nothing really seemed to cool me from it. Any cooling effect that it does have comes from the silkiness of the underside material. Even then though, I still found myself moving my body around to find cooler spots of the blanket once others warmed up. Disappointing, but as another review says, many of the five-star reviews are probably biased by the $20 rebate they send out with it based on you leaving a five-star review with a photo. Honestly tempting, but I couldn't in good heart leave a five-star review when this didn't do what it says. Also, the terry cloth texture side wasn't really soft either. It's still a pretty nice blanket, and the yellow color is beautiful and bright, but since it's neither cooling nor very soft, I will be returning it. ☹️
