This unit should be basic except for some reason there are three setting switches, 5.1, 2ch and pass. For a simple person like me, even after trying to figure out what the three parameters mean, it was still too difficult to just get the headphones to work. We need to connect and listen. But after some fiddling everything works, we have sound from two headphones. Here's my main complaint and why it only gets three stars instead of four. The power cord is TOO SHORT. When the unit is on a TV stand, the plug barely reaches the floor, and since the wall plug is slightly offset from the TV's HDMI input, the power cord is TOO SHORT, requiring me to use an extension cord with this unit only. How much would another 18 or 24 inches of this power cord cost?
