Review on ๐Ÿ”ฌ Blank Cover Glass for Microscope Slides by Tim Airy

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The coverslips are damaged, the slides are damaged and the boxes are not labeled with the correct number.

I ordered this for my microbiology class this semester. Obviously this wasn't the best choice. I received 2 boxes of slides, each box should contain 50 slides. I knew something was wrong when I noticed the empty space in the boxes, so I counted the slides in each. 46 in one and 48 in the other - a total of 6 slides were missing out of 100. In addition, several slides had damaged edges and there were splinters of glass in the slide box. I actually cut my finger working on the slides before realizing there were pieces of faux glass floating around. Then I looked closely at the coverslip. Although I didn't count them, I noticed that each had flaws, which showed up under the microscope as huge cracks and imperfections. In short, they're useless to a microscope, which ironically is the only thing they're used for. Complete rubbish, I can't think of any practical use for it. So this purchase was a complete letdown.
