This was a first for me. I've never seen a compressed sponge in my life. It was very funny when they arrived as I thought I had ordered the wrong one. A dozen were stacked on top of each other, taking up almost no space. I thought I would use them for something without knowing what, but I wouldn't return them given the price. Then when I decided to clean the countertop, magic happened when I wet one of the sponges. He turned into an adult sponge! Not only that, it's denser and thicker than the regular sponges you buy at the grocery store. This is a higher quality sponge than I've ever been used to. It washes better and absorbs more. I will always buy these sponges.
