I've been wearing slip ons since high school. I like wearing them because I don't like tying my shoelaces. It slips very easily even when it is ankle high. I was worried at first, but it wasn't a problem. Once put on they hold up very well and are very comfortable. My complaint about this shoe is the top. I get that shoelaces are a trendy design, but don't make it like you actually have to tie them. The panties hold very well on my ankle. Shoes don't go anywhere when they're on my feet. However, they have real laces, so you have to tie them. If you don't tie it down, it will hang around and you can step on it and trip over it. Just stupid design in my opinion. Shoes without laces are slippery for some reason. I don't want to tie my shoelaces. -1 star for that.
