It's just mostly bamboo and it's not very well made.
Bamboo sides and base made of thin MDF with bamboo embossing. But you'll probably just toss these guys in your drawer in a futile attempt to clean up the mess, so who cares. Like many reviewers, I received the item damaged, but found it easier to just re-stick the piece of wood than to send it back. However, during the repair, I dropped this stupid thing on the carpet and the sides separated. These boxes are held together with thin pins. It was easy to put everything together, but my goodness, these things suck! But I knew what was going on. Hope you enjoy DIY projects!
