Bought two pairs for me and my wife for a trip to Mexico. They were ideal for hiking along the rocks and wooden paths of the cenotes. And the mesh lining in the drain holes kept pebbles and shells out. Have also worn them to the beach and they didn't let the sand through like you would expect. I've had several pairs of expensive water boots in my life and somehow they put them all to shame.
