This is how I drove a 1998 Civic GX with a high-compression D16B5. Due to the less volatile nature of CNG compared to gasoline, the ignition system needs to be perfect and I had misfires. The factory distributor was faulty from the previous owner as one of the cylinder head screws was stuck in the bodywork so I couldn't use it, even used petrol spark plugs that aren't suitable for CNG. There were many Civics at my local junkyard but none of them had a TEC factory dealer as they were all taken. Prices for china swindles range from over $200 at local parts stores to $59 here. I was very skeptical but it works great, three screws, a quick swipe on the timer and it works great.
