Others noticed the lack of glue. At first I thought the same thing, but then I applied it. If you're not *very* careful, the clear protective film will peel off. I had to lift the corner and use a razor to separate the film from the clear sheet and slowly peel it off. After installation, a small defect was visible, it looks like a chip in the glass. I don't know if it happened or if I did it accidentally. Finally, it comes with a cleaning cloth and some installation videos show you how to clean the LCD or glass. Try very hard to keep it free of dust, lint, or breath. It's quite difficult to clean and seemed to leave worse streaks than it was.
