There are several shortcomings, in principle, it corresponds to the norm.

I bought this mat. payment in October 2022, I am writing a review in February 2022.
After assembling the system and installing Windows 10, the wow effect slowly began to disappear.

Firstly, due to the abundance of additional controllers and other whistles, the motherboard takes a long time to start.
If you set a startup delay of 3-5 seconds in UEFI, the mother still starts for about 10 seconds, then the question arises why then add the POST delay reduction parameter to the UEFI fast boot section, if in fact it is useless!

Secondly, when the computer is turned off, the AURA backlight on the motherboard itself does not turn off, not to say that this moment somehow annoys me, but it can distract someone.
Even if we disable AURA via UEFI when the PC is turned off, it will still work as if nothing had happened, apparently it is used as an indicator of standby power supply.

Third sound!
Software from ASUS in the form of SONIC Audio spoils all sound quality!
When using headphones and a stereo pair, there are no complaints!
BUT, when we connect the 5.1 configuration, 6 circles of hell begin, through which the developers of this software need to be driven to death!
The problem is that when you connect the subwoofer and the center channel, extraneous noise is heard! Some kind of incomprehensible gurgling, the speaker itself is fully functional, there is no such problem when connected to other devices, the problem is related to the software, which spoils all the impressions of listening to music and watching movies.

It was not possible to completely fix the problem with the sound, after spending about an hour of time, it was possible to unscrew the optimal settings for the sound in order to reduce the echo and gurgling to a minimum, unfortunately it is not possible to completely get rid of them.

In general, the motherboard is good, if we discard the main drawback with the software that processes sound and the unfinished raw UEFI (at the time of writing the review).

Pros

1. Design; 2. Good power subsystem; 3. It is possible to connect devices with RGB backlight for 12 Volts and 5 Volts; 4. There are PWM connectors for powering the pump, they differ from conventional connectors for fans with constantly high output power (at least the manufacturer assures us so); 5. There are two M.2 connectors for connecting modern NVMe and SATA SSDs via the PCI-E bus, as well as standard heatsinks for M.2 devices; 6. 8 SATA ports, for those who have a large disk subsystem, there will be no problem with a lack of SATA ports; 7. Modern USB 3.2 interfaces.

Cons

1. Sound (SONIC AUDIO software); 2. The price is too high; 3. Slots for RAM without a metal frame, not to say that it is critical, but for such a price tag it would be possible to attach it like on the third PCI-E x16 slot.
