I decided to try these minimalist shoes after suffering from swelling and bruising on my toes after a long hike in more traditional hiking boots. First I tried size 11 which is my usual size for athletic shoes but they seemed a bit short so I exchanged them for 11.5. I was looking for a roomy toe box and it certainly fit the bill. They are also light and very flexible with low arches, which is what I was looking for. But while I generally found them comfortable for walking short distances, I had some discomfort with the shoes pinching my right toes. This isn't because they aren't long enough, it's because the top flexes as you walk. A deep crease forms and presses against my leg. Please note that this may not be an issue for everyone. However, I couldn't wear them for long hikes. If it wasn't for the pressure on the arches of my feet I would have kept them.
