My dogs used to drive me crazy with their itching so I did some research and found it could be food related so I decided to switch to grain free food. Then my older dog was diagnosed with cancer so more research was needed to find the best food for her and her "brother". I've found that even the most famous brands have had repeated recalls for salmonella and other major issues other than Blue Buffalo. The company voluntarily recalled a batch of its dog food because it may have had too much vitamin D. I was impressed so I tried Blue Buffalo Wilderness Grain Free for my dogs and all other brands are history! No added fillers or offal (wow!) and all-American ingredients. This is the ONLY food my dogs will eat straight out of the bag. I had to add something to all the other brands so my dogs would eat them. Also, after joining Blue Buffalo, I discovered that this company supports cancer research. It's a win/win in every way. My cats love Blue now too!
